W. Goethe’s work The Sorrows of Young Werther) is Ján Mikúš’s project - performance director and scriptwriter, who is studying at Theatre directing department at Theatre Faculty, Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. The performance WERTER, WERTER is a movement pantomimic piece with minimal text parts and it is intended for one actor. The piece theme is love triangle - the problems of parasite's dependence, necessity to be in a relationship with third person, theme of artistic geniality, sexuality, nature and suicide theme. About the company: Theatre Faculty, Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts The Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) is one of two academies of music and the dramatic arts in the Czech Republic. It is named after Leoš Janáček, one of the most distinguished composers in modern European music, who was its spiritual father and it was founded in 1947.
